This was one of several short operations that involved V4.

It began on the 5th July and was conducted in AO Moon on the Firestone Trail
which was a large ‘Firebreak’ type of trail with primary jungle on each side.

This and and other Trails were used extensively by the enemy.

It was on this op that V4 experienced the effect of a USA B52 bombing airstrike
​and the aftermath of the explosion in the form of wide and deep bomb craters.

There were a few contacts and on the 9th July, the coy was airlifted back to Nui Dat.
