The entire Coy was now formed. We were the Fourth NZ Victor Company in Vietnam,
or, commonly referred to as Victor 4 or V4.

It would be 11 days before The Australian Main Body of 6 RAR would arrive so during this time,
​there were various activities which included;

1. Tour of Nui Dat

2. Weapon test firing

3. Range Shoots

4. Familiarisation with Australian Armour and Supporting Elements

5. Platoon Tactical Area of Responsibility (TAOR) Patrols

6. Maintenance and other training.
